NWS to Remove Iconic White Dome at their Office in Bellemont

2/27 The National Weather Service is holding a “Farewell To The Dome” event at their office in Bellemont tomorrow afternoon at 4-pm. Head Meteorologist Brian Klimowski says the iconic white dome you can see from I-40 is being removed because it’s no longer needed. It’s been at that location for more than 30-years. He says the removal will not affect their weather balloon program.
