The City of Cottonwood is excited to share that we’re kicking off the Old Town Cottonwood Parking Plan to help improve the public parking system and other mobility elements in the Old Town area. We have provided a flyer to post in your place of business, or we can print them and deliver to you, if you so desire. It is a QR code that goes directly to the parking study survey and will be open through the end of May.
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. will be working with the City of Cottonwood to develop a comprehensive strategy to manage our current and future parking needs. The major parts of this plan will include:
- An analysis of the existing supply and demand for vehicle parking on the street and in parking lots around Old Town
- Public engagement including a public survey, an interactive open house, and targeted stakeholder group meetings
- An assessment of parking and mobility best practices
- A final plan document with actionable parking and mobility management strategies for the City of Cottonwood
