3/4 A 68-year-old Prescott man was recently sentenced to 10-years in prison after being convicted of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor. Yavapai County Attorney Dennis McGrane says in September of 2023, Jeffrey York, a retired deputy from the LA Sheriff’s Department, tried to arrange a sexual meeting with a 7-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl. York thought he was talking online with a sex trafficker, but instead the person was an undercover officer. He was arrested when he arrived at the pre-determined location.
