3/26 Clarkdale Police arrested 22-year-old Micah Hines in connection with an attempted child abduction from Clarkdale-Jerome School Monday afternoon. Officials say Hines confessed to jumping the fence to access the school campus, hiding in the girls’ bathroom at the back playground, recording students who entered the bathroom, and grabbing a child by the arm. The victims escaped and immediately told school officials. Hines was jailed on charges that include 2-counts each of kidnapping, voyeurism, surreptitious recording, aggravated assault of a minor and interfering with an educational institution.
