3/31 Yavapai County Attorney Dennis McGrane says a jury convicted 49-year-old Kurt Colin of Chino Valley of 7-counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The investigation began in February, 2024 when a Homeland Security Investigator notified Chino Valley Police that Colin was downloading child pornography. A search warrant found a large amount of child pornography, including images of children who appeared to be under 6-years old and children being sexually assaulted. Sentencing is set for May 5-th. Colin faces a minimum of 70-years in prison.
