The Cottonwood Police Department has merged with YCSO to utilize their CodeRED emergency notification system. The current Cottonwood Emergency Notification System or CENS will no longer be active. All residents in Yavapai County and Cottonwood are encouraged to register for CodeRED through the YCSO website. Emergency notifications can be sent by a call, text, email or all three.
