Summit Fire Douses Flames Along I-40

4/20 Last Wednesday, Summit Fire crews responded to multiple fires along I-40. The exact cause of the fires is not known, but the public is reminded to make sure you’re not dragging anything metal, like tow chains, which throw off sparks. Although the area received rain and snow, conditions are expected to dry out quickly again.
