4/4 The National Interagency Fire Center dropped the National Preparedness Level to 1 from 2 today. This is the lowest level. Officials say over the past few days, weather conditions and dry vegetation, have started to ease up in places that recently had a lot of wildfire activity. Wildland fire experts believe the cooler, quieter trend will continue and due to this, more firefighting resources are now available across the country.
