1/16 AAA Arizona says gas prices in the state fell slightly this week. The statewide average for a gallon of regular gasoline dropped 3-cents since last week to $2.96, which is 9-cents lower than this time last year. The national average went up a couple of cents since last week to $2.84. A year ago, the national average was $3.08. Flagstaff has the highest gas price in the state at $3.17 per gallon; Tucson has the lowest price at $2.80 per gallon.
