Flagstaff Looses Federal Funding Grant for Regional Resilience Project

4/28 Flagstaff received official notice from the EPA that the flagstaff Regional Resilience Project grant agreement has been terminated. In 2024, the City was awarded the grant, which funded three hub pilots in Flagstaff that enhanced emergency preparedness, provided cooling and heating relief, and served as locations residents could access resources before, during, and after all-hazard events, including wildfire, post-fire flooding, and poor air quality. The city has appealed the ruling.
