9/3 The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office arrested 2-people in connection with a fraud case at the Tractor Supply Store. In early August, a male and female suspect used a stolen identity to gain an account at the store at which time they purchased a $4,200 Toro zero-turn mower. They then rented a trailer to haul it away; the rented trailer was never returned. Parking lot surveillance footage led detectives to 36-year-old Christerful Bryant Jr. and 30-year-old Fatuma Salim, both of Phoenix. Both were arrested on August 21-st. A search of their vehicle located receipts linking them to the Tractor Supply store fraud. Investigators also found evidence linking the couple to additional crimes in Arizona and California. Both were jailed on felony charges with additional charges pending the completion of the investigation.
