5/22 Last Monday, the Snowflake/Taylor Police Department responded to the area of Cedar Street in Taylor on a report of 2-deceased people. Officials say the bodies were discovered by a family member. The investigation determined Donald Shurter Sr. fatally shot his adult son, Donald Shurter Jr., before taking his own life. No other details were released.
