PNF Prep in Prescott Basin for Prescribed Burns

3/7 Contractor crews are prepping Prescott Basin, south of Prescott, for future prescribed fires. Crews are working on 2.5-miles of handline where they’ll remove brush with chainsaws and build perimeter lines with hand tools along project boundaries. The project areas are located southeast of Lynx Lake and south of Prescott. The work will continue through the end of April.
