The Prescott Valley Police Department is hosting its annual free Badges and Bobbers fishing event on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 8AM-12PM at Fain Park in Prescott Valley.
Enjoy meeting and fishing with officers from Prescott Valley Police Department, firefighters from Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, Arizona Game and Fish, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, and other local agencies.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own fishing pole and bait, and those who don’t, poles and bait will be provided. Arizona Game and Fish is waiving the fishing license for the morning event and will be stocking the lake for this fishing adventure.
The Early Bird Lions Club will help clean fish. Outlaw Donuts and Gringos Tacos will be on site selling food for attendees.
Parking will be on East 1st Street where a school bus will shuttle participants down to Fain Park.
