Winter Weather Returns Friday Night Through Saturday

Quiet Friday morning and at least the early afternoon.
Snow showers return Friday night through Saturday, initially in western Coconino and Yavapai counties, slowly shifting eastward into Saturday evening.
Snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches from 3500 to 5000 feet and 3 to 6 inches above 5000 feet. Highest amounts most likely along the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains, as well as the the Bradshaw Mountains.
Dry and gradually warmer from Sunday onward. Melting snow next week may cause minor rises in area waterways.
