Sunday morning firefighters were dispatched to reports of a structure fire in the Mayer area. Crews made an initial attack to the brush exposures adjacent to the home then transitioned to an aggressive interior attack on the fire that spread across the attic space. We’re fortunate to report there were no injuries and all animals are safe. A thank you to Central Arizona Fire and Medical for providing assistance.
