Prescott Schools Offer Superintendent Job to Assistant Superintendent

Prescott Unified School District voted yesterday afternoon to extend an offer to hire district Assistant Superintendent/Human Resources Clark Tenney as superintendent as of July 1. Tenney was one of two finalists selected by the board from a field of 10 applicants and four interviewed candidates. As of late last week, however, he became the sole finalist when a superintendent from Wyoming, Cory Dziowgo, accepted another superintendent position in Montana. Board members had several options to consider related to the search process, but in a unanimous vote opted to extend the offer to Tenney. The board will be hosting a forum 4 p.m. April 26 at Mile High Middle School, Prescott for faculty and staff to ask questions.
