Cottonwood City Council Sees Resignation

City Councilmember Tosca Henry resigned from the seat to which she was first elected in 2016. No reason was stated. An attorney and owner of Tosca Law Firm, Henry submitted a brief letter of resignation March 30 to City Clerk Marianne Jimenez: Henry has not returned calls seeking comment. She last attended a council meeting on March 21, a meeting she left early.

While the City made no announcement of the situation and her name already was removed from the council page of the City website, Mayor Tim Eliniski said the council will vote on accepting the resignation at its April 18 meeting.

Henry had been an associate attorney at Ledbetter Law before opening her own firm in 2020.
