Floor Designs Complete for New Cottonwood City Hall

In COTTONWOOD floor designs are complete for the new city hall building, previously known as “Rough Cuts,” but the city is still putting together a price for the project. LAST Architects put together the design, and the city has selected a construction company. The city is waiting on the construction-manager-at-risk contract and agreement to be finished with Core Construction. Core will work with the architects to come up with a bottom-line price for the city hall project to be presented to the council. The council will then have to decide on how to finance the project. Cottonwood City Council voted to purchase the Rough Cuts building for a new city hall on Sept. 21, 2021. The building, formerly known as Riverfront Commons, 635 N. Main St. near Riverfront Park, cost the city $2.95 million.
