The Verde Valley Sanctuary is inviting the public for a special birthday party fundraiser and health and wellness expo on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., hosted by Inspire Communities. VVS opened in 1993, providing support throughout the Verde Valley to victims of domestic and sexual violence. VVS aims to raise $10,000 on Saturday as part of Arizona Gives Day, with an end goal of $30,000. On Saturday, there will be a health and wellness expo with various professionals providing information and samples about health and wellness including light therapy, craniosacral unwinding therapy, reflexology, body talk, physical training, and more.
