Accident Near Paulden Sends 3 to Hospitals

A crash last Friday on Highway 89 near Paulden sent all three occupants to Phoenix-area and local hospitals with injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The crash involved a pickup truck that went over a cliff and landed approximately 20 feet down a ravine. Two of the occupants, a man and a woman, were transported by helicopter to Deer Valley Hospital, in north Phoenix with head injuries. The third person went to a local hospital by personal vehicle. Three Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority engines responded, in addition to off-duty personnel who responded with Utility Terrain Vehicle 61 and the Technical Rescue Team trailer.
