Parts of Highway 69 in Prescott Valley will be part of a paving project, as costs have come in under bid. The project will take place near Truwood and Stoneridge drives. According to the ADOT, the proposed project takes place on Highway 69. This consists of removing the existing asphaltic concrete surface course by milling and replacing it with new asphaltic concrete. In addition, replacing sidewalk ramps, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work will be included. A start date has not been determined yet, however, it’s anticipated that thework will begin within the next few months depending on the weather. The time allotted for this project is 125 working days.
