Yavapai College E-Sports Makes Playoffs

The regular season is over for the fall NJCAA E-Sports seasons and it’s time for the playoffs with the Yavapai College E-Sports squad qualifying for the playoffs in each game they have participated in this fall. 

 

The Rocket League squad for YC finished the regular season with a 6-1 overall record, earning the No. 2-seed in their group for the playoffs. The Roughriders now enter a 28-team, single-elimination tournament with each Rocket League match being a best-of-seven format. The first playoff game for the squad is set for Monday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m.

 

For Hearthstone, Champion Reifenkugel earned a perfect 7-0 record during the regular season and enters the playoffs as the No. 1-seed for his group. Reifenkugel now enters a 12-team, single-elimination tournament with each Hearthstone match being a best-of-five format. Champ’s first playoff match is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, at 5 p.m.

 

For SSBU, Charles Fenwick went 5-2 in the regular season and enters the playoffs as the No. 3-seed in his group. Fenwick now enters a 120-team, double-elimination tournament with each SSBU match being a best-of-five format. Fenwick’s first playoff match is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, at 4 p.m.
