The Clemenceau Heritage Museum is a walk through Verde Valley history with displays of everything from delicate perfume bottles, unusual teapots, cowboy/girl prize belt buckles, clocks and salt & pepper shakers.” But the evaporation coolers which their way of keeping the place cool need replacing. The museum is trying to raise $30,000 to install three air conditioning units that the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District is giving them.
The museum offers permanent displays of a schoolroom, early 20th century home interiors, and artifacts and photographs and a miniature railroad system of the Verde Valley – life since the arrival of white settlers in the second half of the 19th century.
