Clemencau Heritage Museum Seeks Donations

The Clemenceau Heritage Museum is a walk through Verde Valley history with displays of everything from delicate perfume bottles, unusual teapots, cowboy/girl prize belt buckles, clocks and salt & pepper shakers.” But the evaporation coolers which their way of keeping the place cool need replacing. Clemenceau Heritage Museum shares its historic digs at the old Clemenceau School with the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District offices.

The museum is trying to raise $30,000 to install three air conditioning units that the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District is giving them.

The museum offers permanent displays of a schoolroom, early 20th century home interiors, and artifacts and photographs and a miniature railroad system of the Verde Valley – life since the arrival of white settlers in the second half of the 19th century.
