Jerome’s new town manager Brett Klein will be taking over for the longest-serving town manager in the Verde Valley, Candace Gallagher today.
The Town is planning a Meet & Greet with the new town manager from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, in Council Chambers at Jerome Town Hall before the council’s regular meeting. Klein has 10 years of experience as a municipal manager in both a rural, tourist-driven economy, and an urban, metropolitan community, according to the release. He has also been a city clerk, and during many of those years held the dual roles of manager and clerk, as he will in Jerome.
Klein’s last position was the finance analyst/deputy clerk for the City of Johnston, Iowa.
