As Phase 2 of the Highway-179 Sewer Main Replacement project continues, Sedona and their contractor will conduct night work and road closures over the next week as crews work to finish repairing additional sewer main that was damaged. Officials say next week, night work will continue on operations that cannot be performed during the day. Work will occur specifically on Sunday night into Thursday. Traffic control set-up will begin at 8-pm, with lane closures and a pilot car operating from 10-pm to 7-am. Crews are repairing damaged sewer main along Highway-179, just west of the Schnebly Hill Roundabout. Contact the city for more information.
