Coconino National Forest officials say residents and visitors are asked to continue avoiding the west Sedona area of Forest Road-525 and 152C, due to a current law enforcement investigation. Officials say law enforcement is attempting to locate 33-year old Jonathan Medford, after he assaulted a US Forest Service Agent near the Palatki Ruins off Forest Road-525D on Tuesday morning. The roads are still closed. YCSO will advise when the situation has been resolved. Anyone with information on Medford’s whereabouts is asked to contact YCSO or Yavapai Silent Witness.
