Over 3-million Arizonans now fully vaccinated

The Arizona Department of Health says more than 3-million Arizonans are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Officials say a review of state cases shows how effective the vaccines are. Of 16,910-total COVID-19 cases in May, 95.4% or 16,139 in all, involved people who weren’t fully vaccinated. 91% of the cases involved people who weren’t vaccinated. A total of 6.2-million doses have been administered to 3.4-million individuals since COVID-19 vaccine doses began arriving in Arizona in December.
