Wednesday morning, Copper Canyon Fire responded to a semi rollover in the southbound lanes of I-17 in Camp Verde near the Cliff Castle Casino exit. Battalion Chief Dan Elliot says crews found the vehicle on its side blocking both lanes of traffic with heavy damage. The driver was self-extricated and then transported to a local area hospital for injuries he sustained in the rollover. Elliot says crew’s remained on scene while ADOT removed the semi from the roadway.
