The Arizona Department of Education held the first meeting of the AZ Ready for School Task Force as part of its Arizona Ready for School Campaign that will kick off this summer. The task force brings together representatives from tribal communities, education associations, community organizations, city and state agencies, schools, and more to help address persisting challenges related to the pandemic in advance of the next school year. During the first meeting, members shared ways they successfully overcame some of last year’s extra challenges as well as ideas for how to get students and families enrolled and ready for the new school year.
