Central Arizona Fire responded to a 1/4–acre roadside wildfire in the area of Williamson Valley Road and Talking Rock in Prescott on Monday afternoon. Spokesman Eric Merrill says crews arrived on scene to find the fire with a slow rate of spread. Quick action from crews on scene were able to mitigate the fire to two separate spot fires. Merrill says the fire was likely human caused possibly by something like a chain dragging from a vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
