Friday morning, Central Arizona Fire responded to a house fire in the Diamond Valley area. Fire Marshall Rick Chase says Prescott Fire crews arrived on scene first and located heavy fire involvement of the rear deck of the home and noticed it had already extended to the inside. Crews made a quick, aggressive attack on the fire and held it from extending further into the home beyond the kitchen/living room area near the back wall. Chase says all the occupants made it out of the home safely before crews arrived. The fire was caused accidentally on the rear deck.
