For the next 5-10 business days, the Yavapai County Administration Building in Prescott, will be closed to the public due to a threat. County staff will still be available, and if you need access to County services located in the building, you can still come to the front door, call the department you need, and someone will meet you outside. Department phone numbers are posted on the front door. Visitors are encouraged to call before they come in person. McAtee says the county received text and phone calls from a person making threats against an employee and department. He says all threats are taken seriously.
