Cottonwood Rec Center Indoor Pool to return to open swimming

The Cottonwood Recreation Center Indoor Pool will be bringing back open swim beginning on Monday, March 22 with new guidelines and schedule in place. 

  • Open swim hours will be from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Monday – Friday) and 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Saturday – Sunday).  Anyone may use the pool during these hours, with a maximum capacity of 25 swimmers in the water, in order to maintain social distancing. 
  • Lap Swim reservation hours will continue from 7 – 11 a.m. and 12 – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and with Saturday and Sunday options until 6 p.m.  Lane reservations are 30 minutes in length and can be done online at www.cottonwoodaz.gov/685/Parks-Recreation up to 48 hours in advance or by calling the Cottonwood Recreation Center for same day reservations. 
  • The lap lane area of the indoor pool will be closed on Sunday, March 28 for Lifeguard Training. 
  • The indoor pool area will be closed on Saturday, April 3 for the Underwater Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival program.
  • Water Aerobics class will continue to take place from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Monday – Friday. 

Strict cleaning guidelines will continue to be followed in accordance with CDC and AZDHS Guidelines. Masks must be worn throughout the facility and on deck until entering the water.
