The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors this week voted unanimously to sell several portions of property located at 10401 East Highway-89A in Prescott Valley; the property is located adjacent to Arizona Downs. County spokesman David McAtee says the board looked at land that includes the nearly 64,000-square foot Exhibition Center and decided to sell 3 out of 5-parcels. Two parcels were kept so they can be used for future emergency large animal shelters. The property is now being appraised and will eventually go up for auction.
