Weather and Roads 3-4-21

Roads are open and passable this morning, however motorists should be prepared for wet and slippery conditions above 6,000-feet. Motorists should give themselves extra time to reach their destination through the morning hours. The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says scattered showers will continue through early afternoon with up to 2-inches of additional snow possible above 6,000-feet. Southwest winds at 10-to-20-mph and gusts of 20-to-30-mph should be expected along and northeast of the Mogollon Rim. The strongest gusts are expected in Apache County and eastern areas of the Navajo Nation. Temperatures will warm through the weekend with a return to dry conditions at least through Monday. Another storm is expected next Wednesday.
