Prescott says goodbye to long time councilman and mayor Marlin Kuykendall

The City of Prescott is remembering former councilman and Mayor Marlin Kuykendall. He was elected to the Prescott City Council in 1971 and was appointed to the council in 1991 to fill the remainder of an unexpired term. He then became mayor in 2009, a position he held until 2015 when he decided not to run for a 4-th term. Kuykendall was an Army veteran, having served in the 158-th Infantry Regiment of Arizona National Guard, known as the Bushmasters, where he served as the Prescott commanding officer in 1959.
