The Arizona Department of Health is reporting 6,058-new cases of COVID-19 today with an additional 54-deaths and a statewide positive test rate of 11.7%. Yavapai County has 195-new cases with 0-deaths and a positive test rate of 9.6%; up from 9.5% Tuesday. Hospitalizations remain high in the county with 80-people being treated at YRMC West, 29 at YRMC East, 23 at VVMC and 8 at the VA hospital. That’s a total of 140-people hospitalized for COVID-19. While Yavapai County’s numbers continue to go up quickly each day, Coconino County’s numbers are slowly going down. The county is reporting 66-new cases today with 0-deaths and a positive test rate of 9.5%. Coconino County has 21-people hospitalized.
