Cold snap for Christmas but no rain or snow

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff is predicting mild daytime conditions to continue today before a dry cold front moves toward Arizona on Tuesday, with increasing southwest winds. The front will bring sharply colder temperatures and north to northeast winds to the area on Wednesday. Warmer weather arrives Thursday, with a weak area of low pressure expected on Christmas Day. This weekend, daytime highs will be a few degrees above normal. We may see a slight chance of showers by early next week.
