La-Nina to continue through at least March keeping Arizona warmer and drier than normal

According to the National Weather Services’ Climate Prediction Center, Arizona is in store for more drought. Officials say the first 3-months of the New Year will continue to be influenced by La-Nina, which means warmer than normal temperatures and lower than normal precipitation. La-Nina has been with us all fall and winter so far. Arizona has not seen any real precipitation since last spring, making it one of the hottest and driest years on record.
