Today and tomorrow, Sedona’s Traffic Control Assistants will not direct vehicle or pedestrian traffic at the crosswalk on Highway-179 just west of the Schnebly Hill roundabout in order to collect baseline data on traffic patterns and needs. As the city’s effort continues in developing designs and analysis for improvements in the area of the pedestrian crossing on Oak Creek improvements project; the city also needs to test design parameters with actual congestion events.
