ADOT says I-17 is closed in both directions due to a brush fire at milepost-294, about 7-miles north of Camp Verde. Southbound traffic must exit at Highway-179. Northbound traffic should consider using Highway-269 to either Highway-87 or Highway-89A. There is no estimated time to reopen the highway. Drivers should delay travel or use an alternate route.
