Police believe they’ve found the bodies of two missing Chino Valley residents

Last week, Chino Valley Police received information regarding the location of 28-year old Elissa Landry’s vehicle and that she and 45-year old David Batten’s bodies were with the vehicle in Iowa. Lt. Randy Chapman says the department coordinated with the FBI and local Iowa agencies to search a location in Evansdale. Friday, the search confirmed Landry’s vehicle was buried on the property and inside the vehicle were two bodies. Official confirmation on the identities are still pending the medical examiner’s results. Charges against 24-year old Mitchell Mincks, who was Landry’s boyfriend, are pending. Batten and Landry have been missing since April.
