Woman that shot DPS Trooper with a BB Gun identified

YCSO released further details regarding a Black Canyon City woman that shot at DPS Troopers with a BB gun Monday night. YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says they received a 911-call from a man and woman claiming 61-year old Roseanna Williams shot at both of them with a BB gun. Department of Public Safety Troopers arrived to assist with the call for service as deputies were delayed with other priority calls. While Troopers were speaking with the victims inside the home, Williams shot the BB gun at 2 of the troopers. She missed one and struck the other in the upper body which was covered and protected by body armorHe says the trooper’s tazed Williams and took her into custody. She claimed the BB gun was used in self-defense against her family and denied shooting at Troopers. Williams was reportedly very intoxicated.
