Paulden teens linked to two residential burglaries

YCSO arrested two Paulden brothers, ages 15-and-16, in connection with two burglaries. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says they were called to a home on Prairie Way Monday on a report of a burglary. The woman was awoken by an alert on her phone from their security system and later discovered someone had entered an adjacent garage and stole property. D’Evelyn says video evidence showed the two suspects.Deputies learned the brothers attend Chino Valley High School and contacted administrators that same morning that, after seeing the video, identified the brothers by name. With their parents present, both suspects were interviewed at Chino Valley High School and eventually admitted to the garage burglary including the theft of their dad’s truck that nightThe two suspects later admitted to another burglary that occurred the same day on Stump Road in which a TV and jewelry were taken.
