Construction is now underway at the Cordes Junction Public Library. Crews have begun constructing the new 19-vehicle parking lot located behind the library. Internal renovations will follow the construction of the meeting room and the final phase is slated for late May or early June. The library will be open during most of the work. Friends of the Library are raising money to outfit the new meeting room with essentials by selling custom bricks that will be used in a memorial/honorific walkway next to the building.
