Winter Weather Advisory above 5,000 feet remains in place until 5am Saturday morning

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in place above 5,000-feet through 5-am tomorrow morning. The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says we should expect periods of snow and snow showers above 4,500-feet, with accumulations above 5,000-feet. Snow showers will be most numerous this morning and again this evening. Expect difficult travel conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 1-to-4-inches, with localized amounts up to 6-inches are predicted. The advisory is for areas including Doney Park, Flagstaff, Sedona and Williams. Doney Park could see another 1-to-3-inches today, with 2-to-4 in Flagstaff, 1-to-2 in Sedona and 3-to-5-inches of snow in Williams. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. Check with ADOT for the latest road conditions.
