Unsettled weather may move in next week

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says the quiet weather pattern is forecast to continue across northern Arizona through the early part of next week. High pressure currently over California will slowly build over the Southwest in the coming days bringing even warmer temperatures and light winds. The warmest temperatures will be observed today and tomorrow with 60’s and 70’s across most of the high country. Mid and high level moisture will accompany the ridge spreading clouds across Arizona Thursday into Friday. Despite mostly cloudy skies, there won`t be any precipitation. Cooler temperatures are expected by Sunday with breezy conditions out of the north. A transition to cooler and unsettled weather is possible by mid to late next week, but that still remains uncertain.
