Camp Verde Parks and Recreation says registration is open for another season of the popular youth Grasshopper Basketball program. The league is intended to allow kids to have fun, learn the fundamentals of basketball and develop team work. The evaluation session for 1-st and 2-nd graders will be hosted in the Community Center Gym on Monday, October 14-th starting at 5:30. Parents interested in coaching should sign their kids up early and check the coaching box on the form by September 30-th. Sign up is due October 4-th and games start on October 19-th and finish in early December.
