Bagnal Wildfire 50% contained

The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests says the Bagnal Wildfire south of Show Low, that was caused by a lightning strike on July 26-th, has burned 2200 acres of grass and ponderosa pine; is now 50% contained. Smoke is expected to lessen significantly, Fire Managers do not expect the duration of the fire to last very much longer. Showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the week and may influence the use of firing operations within the perimeter.
